We're all looking forward to enjoying the summer but Coronavirus hasn't gone away so it's still important to protect ourselves and others.
Summer is here and we’re all excited about getting back to enjoying many of the things we love after the tough time we've all been through. There’s so much to see and do in West Sussex, it’s the perfect place to unwind, explore and feel happy.
Getting out and about to enjoy our fantastic county is the ideal way to lift our spirits, feel connected and embrace the summer. From walking on the South Downs and picnics on the beach to eating out and having fun with friends and family, there are so many ways to enjoy the summer in West Sussex.
Even though we’ll be enjoying lots more freedom this summer, it’s still so important to do all we can to keep safe and protect each other as we learn to live with Covid-19.
Be cautious, Be kind, Be Safe
Most Covid-19 restrictions have now been lifted however, it’s still really important that everyone continues to take precautions and protect each other. Whilst the vaccination programme has been successful coronavirus hasn’t gone away and cases in West Sussex may rise resulting in serious illness for some people.
We can all continue to wear face coverings, give each other space and wash our hands regularly to help keep ourselves and others safe.
Make sure you're vaccinated and you’re having regular coronavirus tests.
Coronavirus hasn’t gone away and is still able to spread and cause serious illness.
The UK’s vaccination programme has been a fantastic success so far and is helping us combat the challenge of coronavirus and getting us back to normality.
Many of you will have had at least one jab and it’s now vital that all adults have their second jab.
All UK adults are now eligible to receive a vaccination. Book your appointment online or call 119.
There are walk-in vaccination clinics throughout West Sussex where you don’t need to book. If it's been at least eight weeks since your first vaccination just come along with one form of ID (no photo required). Find your nearest walk-in clinic.
Please encourage anyone you know who hasn't yet been vaccinated to get the jab.
