Do you know someone in a care home?

Through our campaign, Raise It, we’re encouraging relatives of those in care homes to speak up.

Do you have something you’d like to say about the care they receive? If it's significant to you it matters to us, whatever it might be.

For example:

  • Can they choose when they get up in the morning and what time they go to bed?
  • Can they join in with activities and residents' meetings?

Working with Healthwatch West Sussex, the independent watchdog for health and social care, a poster and flyer have been created to be displayed and available in care homes across the county.

If you have something to say about a care home, in the first instance talk to the home’s staff. Don’t be afraid to say something – you will often find things can be sorted out easily. But if you prefer not to deal with the home we recommend you contact the following organisation:
