Here at West Sussex County Council we have just launched an ambitious and far reaching corporate plan; West Sussex Plan and we need three people to join our Insight and Intelligence Team to drive the data and analysis agenda to help us deliver.

To be our Insight and Intelligence Manager you will have experience of working in our sector, either directly or with a partner agency, and will be familiar with seeing the big picture and the detail that lies within. You will be passionate about technology and up for the challenge of exploiting this in a local government setting. Ideally you will be familiar the services we provide and understand how insight can help in delivering greater impact. You will be an effective communicator using an innovative approach to telling data stories. You will be comfortable in this senior role which will work with leadership teams across organisation.

For our two data analyst roles we are looking for someone who is energised at the prospect of turning data into real intelligence and not an analyst content to churn out spreadsheets. You will be a fast learner who is able to quickly and independently develop their skills. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate technical knowledge in the fields of data analysis, data visualisation, big data and location intelligence.
