Setting support phone line

Guidance on opening hours, types of queries accepted on the setting support phone line and how to contact us.

The setting support phone line has been developed in place of Targeted Setting Support (TSS) requests for inclusion. It is an advice and support service for practitioners and childminders from early years or childcare settings on any inclusion topic.

You must have parental permission if you wish to discuss an individual child.

This service is for inclusion practice queries only. The phone line will not accept calls regarding:

  • inclusion funding
  • universal funding queries
  • safeguarding concerns
  • business concerns or complaints.

Please follow current West Sussex guidelines for support in these areas.
