Book a registrar

Check whether a registrar is available for your marriage, civil partnership, renewal of vows or naming ceremony.

Once you have chosen your venue and provisionally booked it, you need to check if an appropriate registrar is available to conduct the ceremony.

Complete our online ceremony enquiry form and we will contact you to confirm the booking and ask for payment.

We recommend booking your ceremony as soon as you can in order to secure the date and time you want. You are able to book as far in advance as you would like. Dates cannot be reserved as payment is required in full at the time of booking.

Once you have booked your venue and registrar you need to book an appointment to give notice.

It is a legal requirement that both you and your partner give notice of the marriage at your local register office.
