| St John’s C E School is a small village school with caring, dedicated staff and children who are eager to learn. The school is creative and inclusive and this post will involve day to day class support as well as delivering bespoke additional support through group interventions We are currently looking for a hard working teaching assistant who is passionate about learning to join our team in January 2018. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work across the school age range, however experience in EYFS would be an advantage.
Experience in giving 1:1 support and skills related to SEN children would also be an advantage particularly if this included delivering a range of interventions such as speech and language programmes. The post will be for 6.5 hours per day Monday – Friday during term times (32.5 hours/week). Salary: Grade 3 Point 11 (£11,535) to Point 13 (£12,034) depending on experience.
