SEN TA - One to One support for two pupils with Social and Emotional Needs in Foundation Stage Salary: Grade 3, starting at point 3 (£18,562 pro rata) Working hours: 8.30am to 3pm, term time only plus one inset day Contract: Permanent (moving up with the children) Start date: as soon as possible Application Deadline: 18th May 2021 Interview Date: 26th May 2021 This vacancy is being re-advertised due to the change in employment terms and conditions. This vacancy is now full time and permanent, term time only. This exciting new SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy starts as soon as possible. As a one to one support TA, you will be working with two children currently in Foundation Stage and you will be moving up with the children as they progress through the year groups. We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children in Early Years and someone who is confident working with behaviour that requires additional support and understanding. Some knowledge around trauma and attachment would be beneficial. The role is to support social and communication skills especially during lunchtime and transitions. What is required for this role: - Empathetic and nurturing Teaching Assistant - Enthusiastic team-player and strong communicator - Experience working with children with Social and Emotional Needs Manor Field is a large primary school on the outskirts of Burgess Hill with approximately 500 pupils on roll and less than a 5 minute walk from Wivelsfield Station.
