Academic Mentor (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) Grade 20, Salary £25,991pa pro rata 19.25 hours per week (timings of day may vary, subject to discussion at interview), term-time only 1 year temporary contract We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, positive, dedicated, caring, emotionally intelligent team player to work in our supportive and committed team. Prospective candidates should have a good understanding and experience of working in an educational setting together with a firm grasp of how to promote excellent behaviour when working, predominantly in Upper Juniors but possibly across all KS2 year groups. The post holder will: • Provide high quality academic mentoring to pupils • Hold an HLTA qualification or above eg. a teaching qualification • Be required to lead whole class sessions, small group interventions and 1:1 working • Support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils in line with the schools policies and procedures • Inspire, motivate and challenge This is a good opportunity to develop professionally in a forward looking learning environment.
