Closing Date-11am Monday 19 April 2021 Interview Date-Monday 26 April 2021 About WSAPC West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on Seven separate sites. We provide education to young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We aim to provide a caring and positive environment where all are valued and supported through a personalised curriculum which challenges and inspires individuals to achieve their potential. What we are looking for: If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently, with an interest in working with young people with Social, emotional and Mental Health needs, and would like the opportunity to join a successful team then we would like to hear from you. We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Outreach Teaching Assistant to provide keyworker support for primary aged children identified as at risk of permanent exclusion in mainstream schools. You will work as part of the WSAPC Inclusion Team to provide support to children and staff in mainstream schools to develop skills and strategies in order to avoid permanent exclusions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a role that is diverse and rewarding and to work in a team where initiative and creativity are at the forefront of solution focused practice. Your allocated working base will be at WSAPC Burgess Hill, however you will be expected to travel to various different schools. The ability and facility to drive is important for this position You must hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to your own transport.
