TEACHING ASSISTANT (BURGESS HILL PRIMARY 16 hours TTO G6)
Closing Date: Tuesday 7 July at 11am Interview Date: TBC About WSAPC West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on Seven separate sites. We provide education to young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We aim to provide a caring and positive environment where all are valued and supported through a personalised curriculum which challenges and inspires individuals to achieve their potential. The College is rated as Good following a recent Ofsted visit in March 2018 and our focus now, is to move from Good to Outstanding. What were looking for We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible person to join a supportive team to fill this post which contributes to our provision of the highest quality of inclusion. We are looking to recruit a class teaching assistant who can provide support for our young people, you will work with pupils experiencing a variety of learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties, focusing primarily on supporting pupils to achieve their personal best. If you can work effectively as part of a team, have the ability to understand and use a variety of teaching and learning strategies for groups and individual students, are able to prepare teaching and learning materials as required, and can work with groups of children to support their learning, under the direction of the class teacher, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
