|West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on Seven separate sites. We provide education to young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We aim to provide a caring and positive environment where all are valued and supported through a personalised curriculum which challenges and inspires individuals to achieve their potential.
The College is rated as Good following a recent Ofsted visit in March 2018 and our focus now, is to move from Good to Outstanding.
What were looking for
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated PA to support the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team in developing the schools future and improvement priorities. You will be organised, innovative and proactive with the ability to apply discretion in your work. You will be an experienced PA / Senior Administrator with extemporary IT and secretarial skills and ability to communicate with a mix of internal and external stakeholders, including pupils, parents / carers, multi-agencies, partner schools and suppliers. This is a varied role and requires travel across our multi-site provision.
Hours of work - 37 hours per week. Term time only with two additional weeks.
The key duties include but are not limited to:
Diary Management and whole school training / school Calendar
School Bulletin and communications
Preparation of complex reports and correspondence
General support and Administrative / secretarial services to SLT
Line Management responsibilities
Event management / organization
You will have:
Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification / Significant secretarial experience
Experience of working within a school / college environment at a senior level
Have excellent ICT skills including, (office 365 / SIMS / FMS)
An understanding of relevant policies
Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues effectively
