EXAM INVIGILATORS
THE BURGESS HILL ACADEMY CASUAL CONTRACT, TERM TIME ONLY GRADE 1 SCALE POINT 7 - £9.58 p/h (inclusive of holiday pay) We wish to appoint some Exam Invigilators to join our existing team. Exam Invigilators provide support for internal and external examinations at the Academy. They assist with the set up of exam rooms, they patrol the rooms during exams and collect in papers at the end, whilst ensuring compliance with the statutory policies related to the role. This role is for a casual contract, so hours and days will vary dependent on need, however availability between the hours of 8.15am and 4.15pm is required. The exams take place throughout the academic year, starting in November and ending with the GCSE examinations in May and June. No experience is required as full training will be given, however experience of working with young people would be an advantage. The successful applicant should be professional and flexible, with good spoken and written English. Applicants should be reliable and possess a calm but firm approach. Applicants should be able to work as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative.
