The West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based in 7 separate locations across West Sussex offering individual programmes for Primary and Secondary pupils unable to effectively access their mainstream schools for a variety of reasons. WSAPC was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in March 2018.

If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently, with an interest in working with young people and would like the opportunity to join a successful team, then we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking to appoint an Outreach Teaching Assistant to provide keyworker support for Secondary aged children identified as at risk of permanent exclusion in mainstream schools.

You will work as part of the WSAPC Inclusion Team to provide support to children and staff in mainstream schools to develop skills and strategies in order to avoid permanent exclusions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a role that is diverse and rewarding and to work in a team where initiative and creativity are at the forefront of solution focused practice.

The role predominantly covers mainstream schools in the north of Crawley and East Grinstead.

The Inclusion office base is Burgess Hill.

You must hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to your own transport.
