The University of Brighton Academies Trust is seeking a skilled and professional Estates Support Manager to be based at our Burgess Hill Academy in West Sussex The postholder will drive high standards of buildings maintenance and service management at six schools in West Sussex, supporting capital projects and providing leadership and guidance to our dedicated school facilities teams.

The successful applicant will be experienced at achieving high standards of estates and facilities management and have the maturity to build strong relationships with senior academy staff and their site teams to implement ways of working to successfully meet these standards. He or she will be one of three Estates Support Managers, each with responsibility for a small cluster of academies, and therefore some travel to other academies and offices in East Sussex may sometimes be required.

The Estates & FM team is friendly and industrious with a remit to improve and maintain our academies’ environment, grounds and buildings. Working to the EFM Director, the team bring together an array of different skills and share a commitment to ensure our academies’ environments support great teaching and learning and enable best possible educational outcomes for all our pupils and students.
