| Director of Faculty
Full time Permanent Required from September 2024 The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham, ‘Collyer’s’, is one of the leading sixth form colleges in the country and the no.1 choice for A Levels in West Sussex. We wish to appoint a highly skilled Director of Faculty with a commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement for one of the three faculty areas in the college. This is an excellent opportunity for an educationalist who has experience in a curriculum management role to take the next step and shape their faculty whilst working alongside senior managers to develop future strategy. The successful candidate will work with two Assistant Directors of Faculty to hold management oversight of approximately 15 Level 3 subjects each with their own Head of Subject. Director roles include a significant area of cross-college responsibility and offer an excellent stepping stone to a future senior management/leadership position. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in their teaching and a track record of ensuring that students achieve their very best. This role includes a teaching commitment of 3 blocks per week (a total of 13 hours teaching) in any appropriate Level 3 subject offered at Collyer’s. The successful candidate will also be experienced in curriculum development alongside teaching and learning strategies to yield excellent outcomes for students.
