| We are looking for an AFTER SCHOOL CLUB ASSISTANT to join the team at Rogate CE Primary School
Monday to Thursday 3-6pm and Friday 3-4.30pm, starting in September, Grade 3, working term time only We have a part time vacancy for a suitably experienced person, who will under the direction of the Head of School, assist in the safety, welfare and good behaviour of the children after school hours in the school’s After School Club. Key responsibilities are to supervise the children after school hours, ensuring their health and safety, welfare and wellbeing are prioritised at all times. Duties include: • Supervising children after school within the hall space/playground/school grounds to ensure that a good atmosphere is maintained • Leading and encouraging children to take part in appropriate games both indoors and outdoors • Ensuring the safety and good behaviour of children • Administring first aid, when required • Being aware of and supporting children, to ensure that all children have equal access to opportunities to play and develop • Assisting children to complete their homework during the session This role is until July 2025 in the first instance, but this will be reviewed. Our small school is set in a beautiful South Downs village and is part of the Downland Village Schools Federation.
