Temporary until July 2024 but could be extended if lunchtime numbers require it. Salary: Grade 2 (£22,366 - £22,737 pro-rata per annum £11.59 - £11.79 per hour)) Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lunchtime Assistant to join our busy Nursery School! Why Choose Us?: - Foster Social Skills and Meaningful Conversations: As a Lunchtime Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting social interaction and cooperation among our young learners; sparking conversation and building language skills are key elements of our approach. You'll have the opportunity to engage with children, encouraging their communication and language development. - Nurture Healthy Eating Habits: Be the positive influence that encourages nutritious eating habits! You'll support children during meal times, ensuring they enjoy balanced and tasty meals in a relaxed setting. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in meal preparation and setting up the dining area. • Encourage positive social interactions during meal times. • Engage children in conversation and facilitate group discussions. • Support children to try new foods and develop skills in using cutlery • Promote cleanliness and hygiene practices.
