It is an exciting time to join DMAT and we are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our team in this newly created fixed term post for one year.

Key aspects of the role:
To review and refine the health and safety processes and operations of the Trust, through the completion of specific projects whilst giving support and guidance to key stakeholders and colleagues. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to find the best solution, and support with the implementation and embedding of new processes and associated systems. Offer professional advice as and when needed to colleagues and leaders across our Trust to support their roles and develop their knowledge and understanding.
To provide active support to the Director of Operations and staff with Health & Safety responsibilities to implement local Health and Safety arrangements, policies, procedures, Department for Education requirements and statutory compliance.
Support the Director of Operations with project planning and implementation, creating clear and detailed specifications for high value works and support with the appointment of contractors. Manage the Health and Safety and legislative aspects of construction projects including DMAT’s responsibilities under CDM.

As the Health and Safety Estates lead you will have a demonstrable track record of excellent project implementation and leadership. You will hold a professional qualification relevant to the role.
