We are looking for a Leader of KS3 to oversee curriculum development, assessment, impact data and teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be: • Enthusiastic, flexible, and resilient • Determined to “make a difference” in young people’s lives • Ambitious for students and for themselves • A reflective practitioner, always striving to be the ‘best they can be’ Our Science results continue to be outstanding, with 82% of our students gaining 4+. Progress 8 scores have consistently been outstanding at 0.50+ or better. Science is taught across 12 full equipped and resourced labs, all with Smartboards, visualisers and exceptional technician support. Students in Y7 and Y8 follow an ambitious two-year curriculum, where core knowledge and skills are learned and developed. At KS4, students follow the AQA Combined GCSE specification starting in the Autumn of Y9, focusing on the transferable skills required for success.
