The Schools Forum advises the Cabinet Member on policy and key issues. It meets in January, March, June, October and December each year to:
- give its views on important issues and make decisions on others
- consider proposals drawn up by the County Council to allocate the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG), which is earmarked for the provision of education in schools and academies, early years settings and to support pupils with SEND high needs.
