Information for employers
Introduction
The West Sussex Pension Scheme is administered by West
Sussex County Council, but other councils and public authorities
can join the scheme.
Actuarial valuation
At the 2010 actuarial valuation, the West Sussex Pension Fund
was 86% funded, with a funding shortfall of £288m. The valuation
report and details of the contribution rates payable by
participating employers on behalf of members of the scheme can be
downloaded.
Policy documents and annual report
The Fund's Funding Strategy Statement, Statement of Investment
Principles, Governance Statement and Annual Report can be
