Community Initiative Funding
The Community Initiative Fund has provided vital funds to
community groups and organisations across West Sussex since it was
started in 2006. Over this time we have awarded over £1.2 million
to more than 450 organisations. The pages below provide you with
information about submitting an application for funding.
Funds are awarded at regular County Local Committee meetings and
you should submit your application to the Committee that covers the
geographical area your organisation (or the service you are seeking
support for) is located within. If you are uncertain about which
Committee to apply to, contact your local
County Councillor or call us on 01243 752727 for more
information.
Worthing County Local Committee has adopted an alternative approach
for applications in the Worthing area and do not accept
applications using the forms available on this website. If you
would like to submit an application, please contact your local
