Man giving the thumbs-up about his homeWe currently have 5 residential care homes for adults with learning difficulties around the County. A growing number of people are now living in their own tenancies with help from the Supported Living scheme.

Others live in a family-type environment through the Shared Lives (adult placement) scheme.

  • Ball Tree Croft in Sompting is currently home to 12 adults with learning difficulties.
 
  • Hammonds is home for adults with severe learning difficulties. Some residents also have additional physical disabilities.
 
  • Hobbs Field in Horsham supports people with a learning difficulty.
 
  • Stanhope Lodge offers residential care and intensive support for people with a learning difficulty.
 
  • Tozer House is a care home in Chichester for 15 adults with learning difficulties who are mobile and under the age of 65.
