Exact - a voice for people who use services
People in West Sussex who use drugs or alcohol services can
play a key role in shaping the services designed to help
them.
The Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) launched the
Exact project in 2009 to actively consult with its
clients and build upon their experiences.
Exact supports people who:
- are accessing drug and alcohol services;
- have accessed services in the past;
- may access services in the future; or
- are in contact with someone who uses drugs and
alcohol.
Exact wants to hear from the people who use – or have used –
drug and alcohol services because you are the
experts. You know what does and doesn’t work well for you,
and what improvements need to be made - that’s why your
voices need to be heard.
The Exact project gives you that voice, and the opportunity to
make real and sustainable changes to the services and
support you receive from the
DAAT
.
Please contact the Exact coordinator, Brian Morgan,
to find out how you can get involved.
