You can also:

All ages

  • 16-17 Saver - 50 per cent off standard anytime, off-peak, advance and season tickets for ages 16-17.
  • 16-25 Railcard - a third off rail travel for ages 16-25.
  • Sussex Student Card - 34 per cent off rail season tickets for students aged 18 and over attending sixth form or college.
  • Unizone season ticket - unlimited travel for college and university students in the Brighton/Worthing Unizone area who already have a 16-25 Railcard.

Older and disabled people

You can do one of two things:

  1. Buy your own railcard:
  2. Apply to the County Council for a one-year Disabled persons' railcard. This is offered instead of a bus pass offering free off-peak travel. This will save you a third off standard and first-class off-peak rail fares across Britain but you will not have to pay for the railcard yourself and you will have to reapply when it expires.
