What's already happening
At West Sussex County Council we have always said that 'Big
Society' isn’t anything new and we stand by that.
Traditionally one way of communities approaching the County
Council was through their County Local
Committee (CLC) to secure funding to help get projects off the
ground. That isn't changing; now we’ll offer you more than just
money!
Further details and assistance is available regarding
grants and funding.
We know that communities have made changes 'big and small' and
that won't stop.
We will continue to showcase community projects on these
pages.
I feel safe
We want to know your views on crime and community safety in your
local area and in West Sussex.
Police, local authorities, the NHS and fire and rescue services,
as well as local community groups, work in partnership to reduce
crime and disorder to make residents feel safe. We want to
understand your priorities and the areas you think services should
be focusing on in the future.
A survey is available until 31 July 2012 and will take
about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
Please click on the link below and help us help you, and please
encourage friends and family to give us their views.
If you know anyone who would like to fill out a hand written
copy please print off the attached copy of the survey under the
'Supporting document' heading below.
