How to find us

Approach the village on the A283 from the east or west. In the centre of the village turn into North Street following the signs to the Library and Tourist Information point and Car Park. Long Term Parking is charged in this Car Park.

    You can send a fax within the UK, European Union, or the rest of the world for a small charge.
    You can arrange for a fax to be sent to the library for you to collect
    There is a reception fee per page.
  • Electronic Catalogue
    We have 1 Viewpoint terminal, which lets you access the county catalogue.
    You can request books, CDs, videos etc from these terminals. You can also see what you have on loan, when it is due back and request renewals. You will need your library card and pin number (available on request at the desk). 
  •  Public Access Internet
    We have 6 Computers with access to Internet, email, word processing, databases, spreadsheets and presentations.

  • For display
    Local groups may display posters advertising events in the area. There is also a small area where organisations may advertise their activities. Please book this space at the desk.
  • People with poor sight
    We have books in large print as well as audio books on cassette. Hire concessions for audio books are available for those with visual impairment - details on request.

  • Housebound Readers
    For those unable to get to the library through age or infirmity the Housebound Reader Service is available on request.
    This service is co-ordinated by the library and operated by a local group of volunteers. Books are delivered to and collected from readers own homes and may be kept for a longer loan period. Collections of books may also be available to residential or sheltered homes etc. Further details on request.
  • Storrington Mobile Service
