How to find us

From the High Street in Steyning town centre turn into Church Street. The library is opposite the church. There is a small library car park, with additional public car parking nearby. Local buses stop in the High Street.

We have one disabled parking bay and disabled access to all areas of the library.

Reading group

Would you like to discuss books with like-minded people? A new reading group is running at Steyning library. Meetings are on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month at 2.00pm.

    Colour and black and white digital photocopier. Current charges.
  • Faxes
    You can send a FAX within the UK, European Union, or the rest of the world for a small charge.
    You can arrange for a FAX to be sent to the library for you to collect.

  • Electronic Catalogue access
    1 Viewpoint terminal in the library let you look at the library catalogue and those of neighbouring counties. You can see what you have on loan and when it is due back. You can also renew and make reservations. To do this, you need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) - (Available on request at the desk).
  • Space
    Tables for study
    Notice boards for display-for your local societies and general notices.
  • Internet access
    6 PCs with internet access. Two of these are bookable....just ring the library.

    Parents and carers are asked to remain on the premises during storytimes.

    Songs, rhymes and musical instruments for children aged 0-3 years
    Parents and carers are asked to remain on the premises during rhymetimes.
