U3A Readers Group
University of the Third Age Book Club now meets at Southwater
Library on the second Monday of every month at

Our Community Library
Southwater library in Lintot Square
opened in September 2006 and is on two floors, covering
300 square metres. The total stock is around 8000, and the
reservation service gives you access to over a million other items
in West Sussex.
On the ground floor you will find the main lending collections:
novels, DVD's, large print, non-fiction, CD's, as well as the
children's library.
The first floor, by contrast, is much less 'busy', with
reference books, newspapers, study tables and easy seating. The
teenage section is also upstairs.
Membership and all book loans are free, and you can borrow up to
20 items. Books are usually loaned for 3 weeks- most other items
for one week

Little Ones
Baby Rhyme Time: 0-3 years
Thursday 10.30am-11.00am
With nursery rhymes, action songs and musical instruments, our
sessions are friendly, informal and free! A great place to have fun
with your baby or toddler (or both!), plus the chance to meet up
with other mums, dads, grandparents and carers.
Join the Bookstart Baby Crawl. Collect stickers
or stamps at each Rhyme Time session, to claim an illustrated Baby
Certificate. With five designs to choose from, you can collect the
whole set!
Storytime: 4-8 years
Every Saturday 10.30am-11.00am
Membership card and stickers to collect. Stories every week, and
craft activities on the first Saturday of every month. Lots of
participation in the story readings, involvement with library
displays plus colouring sheets to take home. Have loads of fun and
make new friends!
