Computer access in libraries
Computer use
Computers for public access are now established in all
libraries. The larger libraries, like Worthing, have up to 35
available for public use. Some libraries have a booking
system. You do not have to be a library member to use the
computers. Contact your local
library for more details.
Free services
All library computers have free
access to the Electronic Library, a
collection of up to date digital subscriptions on many subjects
including encyclopaedias, dictionaries, directories, consumer
guides, business and legal information, biographical and
bibliographical resources.
In addition the Electronic Library
provides free access to over 100 recommended
websites to make it easier to find good quality information.
You do not need to be a member of West Sussex Libraries to use this
service.
Computer charges
There is a charge for using
the computers to search the internet or use email in
West Sussex libraries. Some libraries operate a booking
system. Please contact your local library for more
