Terrain
- The trail is about 1.5 miles of easy walking and takes about an
hour. A shorter circuit, suitable for those who do not wish to walk
the full trail, as well as for people using wheelchairs or with
pushchairs, leads back to the Visitor Centre. The paths may become
muddy after rain so Wellingtons or stout shoes may be needed.
Highlights
- Interesting and varied mix of terrain supports a wide diversity
of wildlife: birds, plants and insects. The shallow, slightly
salty, Ferry Pool is one of the best bird watching spots in West
Sussex.
