Journey planners: Traveline, DPTAC, Transport Direct and National Rail EnquiriesPlan your journey

West Sussex County Council recommends the following online journey planners, some of which incorporate multiple methods of transport to help you plan your journey.

Traveline provides information on all bus, coach, rail, ferry, tram and underground services throughout the UK, and you can incorporate walking and cycling routes into your journey plan. Traveline also offers a telephone enquiry service and can provide live bus times direct to your mobile phone (charges apply, see website below for further details).

Door to Door: a Travel Guide for Disabled People has been developed by the Disabled Persons Travel Advisory Committee (DPTAC) to give disabled and less mobile people information about travelling on all forms of transport.

Transport Direct offers door-to-door journey planning information for both public transport and car travel around Britain.

National Rail Enquiries provides online train times and live information on departures and arrivals, as well as details of planned engineering works and service alterations.

Travel advice in West Sussex is really 'touch and go' with iTravel interactive touch screen terminals offering FREE access to bus and rail timetables, journey planning, maps, taxi services and more.

You can even print out copies of your journey searches, send free emails and access other useful information like job searches and BBC news.
