Venues in your community
The West Sussex Rural Venue Directory lists around 80 venues in
rural locations across West Sussex. Each venue listing contains
information about the size, facilities and technical specification
of the venue, as well as parking and disabled access, directions
and booking and contact information.
The information has been compiled from questionnaires completed
by contacts at the venues. Rural venues in West Sussex come in all
shapes and and sizes. They include new builds and more traditional
structures, which all contribute to the rural landscape. The wealth
of artists and creative industries in West Sussex have helped some
village halls and venues to become an integral part of the
community, alongside local schools and shops.

Premises Licence
Each directory listing indicates whether the venue holds a
Premises Licence, which can cover most events in a hall. However,
the types of event that are covered by each individual venue's
licence are not listed, as these will vary from venue to venue.
Therefore, please make sure when you book that the venue's licence
covers the event you wish to hold.
