Overview

The Exceptional People in Care Awards are a chance to recognise the talents, achievements and skills of the young people in care, care leavers, kinship care and the adults who work with them.

Please note: Nominations for the 2024 awards close on May 15 2024.

Any nominations received between May 16 2024 and May 15 2025 will be entered for the 2025 EPIC awards (which will take place in July 2025).

All young people nominated will be invited to an award ceremony in July 2024 and receive a special goody bag, trophy and certificate, regardless if they are winners of their category. This is the place to recognise the individual triumph and talents that deserve to be recognised and celebrated.

  • EPIC Awards 2024 - Nominate Best Foster Carer, Kinship Carer or Foster Sibling

    There are many Foster Carers, Kinship Carers and Foster Siblings who are involved in your life. This is your chance to nominate one of them for something they have done that has been helpful either for you or for someone else.


    This nomination needs to be completed with or on behalf of a young person aged 5-25 who is a Child Looked After or in Kinship Care.

  • EPIC Awards 2024 - Nominate Best Supporting Adult

    There are many adults who are involved in your life who support you along the way. It might be a family friend, your teacher, librarian... or someone else! This is your chance to nominate one of them for something they have done that has been helpful either for you or for someone else.


    This nomination needs to be completed with or on behalf of a young person aged 5-25 who is a Child in Care or in Kinship Care.
