Sussex Downs and Low Weald LEADER
Listed below are the theme headings for the areas of
activity that are covered by the Sussex Downs and Low Weald LEADER
Programme.

- Theme 1: Supporting farmers and growers to modernise and
diversify production to meet new demand and new opportunities
- Theme 2: Revitalised woodlands
- Theme 3: Local food and produce
- Theme 4: Diverse and successful micro-businesses and a thriving
visitor economy
- Theme 5: Community hubs
- Theme 6: Connecting rural communities
Please note that the maximum grant that the Sussex Downs and Low
Weald Local Action Group will currently award is £37,000, although
the average award is likely to be less than this.
Local Action Group selection panel meeting dates for 2012
These are the provisional dates that the
Sussex Downs and Low Weald Local Action Group selection panel will
meet to award grants during 2012.
- 31 January - deadline for receipt of
applications 19 December
- 13 March - deadline for receipt of
applications 13 February
- 29 May - deadline for receipt of
applications 30 April
- 21 August - deadline for receipt of
applications 23 July
- 23 October - deadline for receipt of
applications 24 September
- 18 December - deadline
for receipt of applications 19 November
Please note that before you can apply for a LEADER grant you must
submit an Expression of Interest form, available from our How to apply for RDPE LEADER funding page.
Eligible projects will then be invited to apply to the appropriate
selection panel meeting.
