The Purchase Card process
Purchase of goods and/or services
– a WSCC member of staff will order goods and/or services
directly from you and provide their purchase card details (just
like a debit or credit card transaction).

Delivery of goods and/or services – supply as
requested in the purchase made above.

Payment – following
receipt of goods that are fit for purpose payment will clear into
your account within 4 working days.
The embedded/lodged purchase card process
Setting up a Lodged/Embedded P
Card – a member of WSCC Procurement Team will contact
you and discuss the possibility of purchasing using an embedded P
Card. If this is agreed a card will be embedded into your
system and tested. Following successful testing we will provide you
with a WSCC point of contact who will request goods or services
against this embedded card.
Purchase of goods and/or services
– goods are ordered online or by phone by a WSCC
employee and the transactions are downloaded in the next 24 – 48
hours into the RBS P Card system.
Delivery of goods and/or
services – the goods or services are delivered in the
timescales agreed between the requestor and the supplier.

Payment – is received by the supplier in 4 working
days.
