Structure Plan 2001-2016
Under a previous planning regime, we prepared a Structure Plan
for the period 2001-2016. The Structure Plan was the keystone of
the statutory Development Plan for West Sussex under that planning
system.
Although the Structure Plan has no formal status in the
statutory planning system, it remains our strategic policy
statement on development into the future. It provides the strategic
context for the our views on land use and transport.
The Structure Plan was approved by the County Council on 23 July
2004, and adopted on 25 October 2004, when it replaced the
Structure Plan 1993.
