The Care Guide 2013-14
Making the right decision when the
time comes to consider care is important both for older people and
their relatives. These decisions can be very difficult to take and
get right. This is where the latest version of the West Sussex Care
Guide can help people make vitally important decisions about their
lives.
As well as a benefits and payments checklist, the new Care Guide
lists care at home services (domiciliary) and care homes in West
Sussex. It also includes a raft of information on day care and
community care services, extra care housing schemes and support for
carers.
The link to the Care Guide below opens up the guide as an
interactive e-book. This allows you to browse through it
electronically in the same way as the printed book. Or, if you
prefer, you can download a static PDF version from the supporting
document below.
You can also find the Care Guide at your local library or order a
copy through our online social care publications form.
The guide is jointly produced by the County Council and the
West Sussex Forum, which is the
largest representative body of independent care providers in the
county.
The guide is also an important part of the County Council's
campaign to help residents Age with Confidence.
Please note that we amend, correct and add new entries to
the Care Guide brochure regularly.
