Drug and alcohol services

Drug and alcohol services are commissioned or provided by West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT).

The partnership helps and support people with drug or alcohol-related issues, and provides emotional support for their families, friends and carers.

• West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)
  West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) is a creative and responsive local partnership that champions and promotes people's recovery from substance misuse.

• Specialist drug and alcohol support services in West Sussex
  These services, commissioned by the DAAT, provide support and advice for people who are affected by prescribed or illicit drug or alcohol misuse. The services also have access to a range of agencies who are available to advise people with drug or alcohol-related issues.

• Needle exchanges

• Family & Friends Network
  The Families & Friends Network supports anyone affected by someone else's drinking or drug use. All services are confidential, and you can receive free information, advice and support.

• Exact - a voice for people who use services
  Exact is an independent, peer-led organisation which gives a voice to people who have drug and alcohol-related issues and their family and friends.
