Chichester Park and Ride Consultation

Park and Ride Traffic Sign

What is Park and Ride?
Park and Ride is a service which allows motorists to drive to an edge-of-town or city car park and then transfer to a bus for the remainder of their journey. Park and Ride is being considered as a possible option as part of a package of measures to accompany the Chichester A27 Bypass Improvements. At this stage we are not identifying potential Park and Ride sites for Chichester, instead we are trying to understand if there is a need for it.

What are the benefits of Park and Ride?
