Children, Young People and Families
Roughly 3,600 children are known to us, of whom 2,500 children receive a service in any one week. We also look after about 700 children.
Our social care services for children and young people include family support, short-term breaks, fostering, residential and leaving care, and adoption services. The Child Protection Unit is also part of Children and Young People's Services.
