Roads
Roads in West Sussex are looked after by either the county council or the Highways Agency.
The M27, A27 and the A23 are the main roads (motorways and trunk roads) in West Sussex. The maintenance and management of these roads is the responsibility of the Highways Agency. Faults on these routes should be reported to the Highways Agency or by contacting Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald on 0203 433 2000.
Except for any private roads or estates, the county council is responsible for all other roads in West Sussex.
