Parking
In general, on-street parking in West Sussex is currently enforced by Sussex Police, with the exception of paid for on-street parking in Marine Drive West, Bognor Regis, which is enforced by Arun District Council. On and Off Street Parking in Mid Sussex, Horsham, Worthing and Adur is now enforced by the respective District or Borough Councils.
Any inquiry relating to a Fixed Penalty Notice/Penalty Charge Notice, should be addressed to the issuing authority whose details are shown on the Fixed Penalty Notice/Penalty Charge Notice. Reports of illegal or obstructive parking should be addressed to Sussex Police.
The County Council is pursuing a programme of introducing Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) where the responsibility for enforcement will transfer from the Police to the local authority. Further Details are available following the link below.
