West Sussex County Council: Managing Congestion

Traffic on Britain's roads is increasing all the time. It is estimated that the growth of traffic in West Sussex is likely to increase by another 10% by 2010. To effectively monitor and manage traffic in West Sussex, we have put in place a number of systems as part of a government initiative to reduce congestion.

With the increases in technology, our ability to monitor and manage the road network in West Sussex has improved significantly.
