West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service recruitment campaign for this year is now closed.

Retained/RDS/On-Call Pre-Recruitment Events 

We now hold these events approximately every 12 weeks.At these events you will undergo a bleep/shuttle run, literacy and numeracy assessments.
Following these events, if you pass and are able to offer us the cover we require at our fire stations, you are then invited into the National Firefighter Selection Tests.If you are successful you can expect to be on contract within 10 weeks.  

Positive Action

From time to time we run positive action events to encourage people from certain under-represented backgrounds and identities to apply to West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service. Dates will be publicised on this website
