Fire & Rescue Service

Making West Sussex Safer

The West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service works to make our community a safer place to live, work and enjoy.

Working with partners, we aim to reduce the number of accidental deaths and injuries by our combined prevention and protection work, and by responding to emergencies when things do go wrong from our 28 fire stations..

Free home fire safety checks are being offered by West Sussex County Council Fire & Rescue Service in a major initiative that is part of its drive to reduce the numbers of people killed or injured by fires in their own homes. You can apply for this free service on-line by clicking the adjacent link.
