Pagham Harbour Visitor Centre
The construction of a new Visitor Centre at Pagham HarbourĀ is a partnership project of the Environment Agency (EA), West Sussex County Council (WSCC) and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). WSCC manages the existing Visitor Centre and the nature reserve, the Environment Agency own much of the nature reserve, and the RSPB have a wealth of experience in setting up and running successful visitor centres at their reserves around the country.
The first phase of the project is to undertake a feasibility study to decide the best location and level of facilities to be provided by a new Centre. Later phases will include designing the Centre, fundraising to secure development costs and construction.
