About 67% of the household waste produced in West Sussex goes to landfill.

We have less then 10 years before we run out of landfill space in the County if we continue piling rubbish into landfill sites at the present rate.

The majority of waste that is thrown away can be recycled. West Sussex County Council provides many facilities for recycling.
