West Sussex County Council: Schools Improvement Support

The Learning Service is part of the Children & Young People's service at West Sussex County Council. The Learning Service provides support services to educational providers (principally, but not exclusively, schools) and also makes direct educational provision in the community.

The Learning Service is organised around four key areas of service:

• Support for learning in the early years and primary (including middle and special) phase
• Support for learning in the secondary (including intermediate and special) and 14-19 phase
• School and Professional Development Services
• Learning in the Community (adult education, music support service, gifted and talented enrichment programme, youth theatre, outdoor education, schools library service)
