West Sussex County Council: 02 - Design Principles

The Design Commission was set up as an independent body in 2004, by West Sussex County Council, to respond to concerns about the expected type and volume of future building, and the community's reaction to this.

The Design Commission has produced a set of 15 principles which cover all of the elements that will deliver quality buildings and public places.

The Design Principles were published in March 2007 and are available to download.
